1 hour delivery service needs your help with ideas!
Thought struck me just a moment back and i am writing this post.
I run a small door to door pickup and delivery service with another employee to take care of the customer support.
I started this business part time on the basis that there is a vacant place door to door pickup and delivery service people are not yet aware of the same. I use a cycle to pickup and deliver every order on time.
It is wrong to complain about lack of awareness among people instead it should be the entrepreneur who created his business beat the tan - trum to the people.
Yes. I am ready to beat the tan-trum with the help of Traditional media
1. Advertisement on newspaper and magazines
2. Radio and Television
3. Kiosks all around the city and advertisement inside malls
4. Hand issued flyers and pamphlets
5. Pick up a stall in an exhibition.
6. Big billboard on buildings.
7. In brand advertising with freebies and offer coupons.
The problem is all of its needs large amount of money, owing to my current position and the kind of business these advertisements consume much.
Mine is OMR Pedal Messengers and its a 1 hour pickup and delivery service collecting little pen drives, daily essentials, clothing, letters and documents from offices, urgent ticket booking and delivery plus a lot of small stuff that will fetch me a few hundred rupees at large.
So the problem is money here! I am sure there is a big market to tap into considering 1 hour pickup and delivery.
It's been a week since the launch and i am yet to get the first ring from my mobile. I know that patience matters but i would like to really let the horn blow in the coming
What is wrong with the business model or is the problem with me?
Somebody please suggest me a way creative or traditional way to get my service other than the web>
